Many years ago i worked as a groom at a local stable and had to drive past the mill on a regular base,s to feed a number of horses down the lane
I had aload of horsefeed in buckets staked in the back of the van when they started to tople over so the van came to an halt not far from where the old security gates . i looked up and saw a small girl about 8 or 9 dressed in a a smock type dress but that was the fashion then (gypsy styles 80,s lol) i started to walk over to her as i thought she had got in and couldn,t get out again as the gates where locked i smiled so as not to alarm her she smiled back somthing else caught my attention i looked up again and she was gone i ran to the gates but there was noone there.
I often drove past after that looking for her but never saw her again.
